If you are a new patient, this is the appointment type to book. It will last up to 60 minutes and includes a thorough case history taking, review of your medical history, physical examination, a report of our findings and recommendations, and will sometimes include a first treatment too (depending on the findings of our assessment, what treatment recommendation is advised and your preferences).
Follow-up appointments are 15-20 minutes long. They typically feature treatment and/or rehab and are used to provide you with ongoing care beyond the initial consultation.
This supervised 30-minute session focuses on helping you learn and practise the exercises needed for your recover (or to expertly coach your gym lifting techniques). Typically, we use these sessions to guide you through your personalised rehabilitation plan so you feel confident continuing it at home over the next few weeks, before returning to progress things further.
Please DO NOT select this appointment type if you have NOT already attended a New Patient consultation appointment with us.
This appointment type is for patients who have already had an initial consultation with us. In this 45-minute appointment we cover any new complaints you may have developed that you would like us to look at.
If you're already a registered patient with us, but it's been over one calendar year since we last saw you, this is the appointment type you need to book before we can continue your care.
In this 45-minute appointment we'll need to reassess you, simply because so much can change in a year - medical conditions, surgeries, medications and more.
This appointment type typically includes treatment (depending upon both clinical suitability/indication and your preferences).
See our radial shockwave page for more information about this therapy. This 15-minute dedicated appointment covers a single application of radial shockwave therapy which we typically use to quickly and effectively relieve muscle pains and tightness. Please only select this option if you have had a new patient consultation and been recommended this treatment.
See our focused shockwave page for more information about this therapy. All patients will begin with a new patient consultation prior to any shockwave treatment to ensure it is appropriate.
A standalone ultrasound appointment includes a case history review, physical examination and scan, plus a detailed written report. If you are referred from another clinic, we will also send a copy of your report to your referrer.
Please ensure your referring clinician contacts us before placing your booking.

If you are not being formally referred to us from another healthcare professional, we will always begin your scanning journey with a New Patient Consultation to assess your condition and determine whether an ultrasound scan is clinically appropriate. If an ultrasound scan is indicated, the ultrasound fee will be payable in addition to the basic appointment fee. Please see the above price list for ultrasound prices.
