Chiropractic Care at Tenby Health

Same week appointments for back, neck, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, foot pain and more.

Assessment. Diagnosis. Management.

We help people understand, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal problems. Our aim is not simply to relieve symptoms, but to identify the underlying cause and help you move better, feel stronger and recover with confidence.

Our approach follows NICE and World Health Organisation (WHO) guidance for musculoskeletal care, combining hands-on treatment, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound (when clinically indicated and desired), focused shockwave therapy, tailored rehabilitation exercise and self-management advice to create an individual treatment plan.

What do chiropractors do?

Chiropractors are licensed healthcare professionals trained to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal problems affecting joints, muscles, and nerves.

Treatment often includes:

  • Gentle, hands-on techniques to restore movement and reduce discomfort
  • Tailored rehabilitation exercises to strengthen and stabilise the spine, joints, and muscles (whether in our excellent rehabilitation suite or at home)
  • Posture and lifestyle advice to prevent recurrence

Our treatment plans are based on your clinical findings and personal goals. Some patients may need only a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing care. We always recommend what’s appropriate for you - not a one-size-fits-all package.

What to expect at your first visit?

At your initial consultation, we will:

  • Take a detailed case history and discuss your symptoms
  • Examine you including assessing movement and function to identify the cause of your symptoms
  • Report our findings to you and outline a tailored care plan that fits with your goals and lifestyle.

Treatment often includes gentle spinal manipulation therapy, joint mobilisation, sports massage, stretching, movement training and progressive rehabilitation exercises - all designed to restore comfort, strength, and confidence in movement.
